The Dread Poet Michael
Dragon Dragon When they read
Of their history
They did not
Understand
They thought it
A story
Actors
Moving on a stage
Cardboard cutouts
Soon forgotten
Until history
Broke down their door
Seized them
In its unyielding
Claws
And brought them
Screaming
Unto its breast
